Walnut Pie


Walnuts have various health benefits such as: reduce bad cholesterol, boost mood and they also help with weight management. The Walnut pie is a healthy treat you definitely should try. I hope you like it as much as I do.

  • ½ Butter
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1tsp. Vanilla
  • 1 ½ cups Flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 ¼ cup Corn Syrup
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 cup Walnuts (chopped)


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. In small bowl, combine butter, first ½ cup brown sugar and teaspoon vanilla. Beat until light and airy.
  3. Sift flour and stir into butter mixture.
  4. Flour your fingers, and press dough into a 9” pie pan. Set aside.
  5. In small bowl, combine eggs, corn syrup, second ½ cup brown sugar and teaspoon vanilla. Combine well.
  6. Stir in walnuts.
  7. Pour into pie pan.
  8. Carefully transfer to oven as the filling at this point is liquid and will slosh around in the pan.
  9. Bake for about 20 minutes or until the center is no longer liquid.
  10. Cool before serving.
