AVOCADO PEAR DIP WITH PLANTAIN CHIPS

Ingredients
  • Avocado Pear - 1/2 (Ripe)
  • Cream Cheese - 8 ozs. (Softened)
  • Lime Juice - 1 tbsp.
  • Scallions - 1 stalk (finely chopped)
  • Garlic Powder - 1 tsp.
  • Scotch Bonnet Pepper Sauce - 3-4 dashes
  • White Wine - 2 tbsp.
  • Salt - 1 dash (to taste)

METHOD:

Peel pear and place in a small bowl.  Mash with a  fork.

Add all other ingredients and beat with a hand mixer until smooth and light.  Place into a decorative bowl and garnish with chopped scallion tops.

PLANTAIN CHIPS
2 large green Plantains
Oil for Frying

Peel plantains and put into thin slices.  Fry in hot oil till light brown on both sides.  Drain on absorbent paper.
