Joan Lue is a Jamaican caterer, pastry chef and cookbook author who has always been passionate about food.
She did her first dinner party at age 13 and studied at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park after college.
She is inspired to adapt the classics techniques learned in culinary school to the local Jamaican ingredients
such as Pineapple and Passionfruit Souffle and Blue Mountain Coffee Mousse. Joan is also a cake decorator doing
wedding and special occasion cakes. Her first cookbook Cook Jamaican! is about the rudiments of Jamaican cooking.
Joan is available for private catering or private chef jobs both at home in Jamaica and abroad.
